HEAT EXHAUSTION

My son got a pair of checkered Vans in the mail that were too small for him so his mom reordered a second pair and let me have the first pair, so I feel kinda Spoicoliesque this morning. “Dude!” Drinking cold coffee, got about a week smoke free, which is good. I had two years before I got stressed out again. The insane heat is hard on everybody in this part of the country. I have to go help some people move tonight and I kinda dread it, not the labor aspect really so much as the social aspect, I’m really disappointed in human beings in this age, everybody seems so hopelessly programmed to jockey for position and claw their way into authority roles and titles and badges and look at my stuff, all that bullshit, people seem so advertising brainwashed and fake news stupid, ruthless, remorseless, greedy as fuck, and really just out for themselves, so I tend to wanna avoid them as much as I can. I have floods of social anxiety whenever I know I’m gonna have to go out in public. I started social distancing in about ’96 after the man killed punk rock and replaced it with all that garbage pop. All my favorite singers keep dying, all my old friends, it’s relentless-sudden death, sudden death, sudden death. The people I’d like to call, they’re mostly all on the other side now. Grieves my little heart.
