Produced by Chris Robinson of The BLACK CROWES, this 6 song EP takes us back to the glamorous 70s with a fresh and modern approach. “Burn Out!” reminds me a bit of glittery Swedish band SUPERGROUPIES while “The World Revolves” sounds like a jam between BOWIE and BOLAN. This second EP of the young rocker actually sounds more British than American and if you liked early SUPERGRASS, chances are you will enjoy these songs. “Out of Touch”, “Nobody Knows” and “I’ll Die” have a bit of SPARKS mixed to the glam punk energy of PINK GREASE in them and the ballad “Dream Away” sounds like a timeless classic! It’s good to see a new glam rock generation with GYASI and BILLY TIBBALS. Let’s hope they will inspire more! /Laurent C.
