This Italian band doesn’t play garage rock as the name would suggest. On the other hand, they are clearly influenced by the Scandinavian scene, mainly The HELLACOPTERS, BACKYARD BABIES and TURBONEGRO (“Don’t Call Back”.)
Punk rock’n’roll tempos, loud backing vocals and hard rock guitar riffs is what you get here, 8 songs about having a good time all the time. Nothing less, nothing more… Unfortunately, there’s not enough hooks and melodies to really make it all mind-blowing, but this is not bad for a debut album ; and as often in this style, the band is probably better live./Laurent C.
