Not a lot of excitement here in the deadly hot desert wasteland, just mousquito bites and grumpiness, sweatting through multiple pairs of clothes a day, punishing outdoor labor and high stress low wage servitude. I saw the Little steven documentary where he sorta explains why he’s been so conspicuously absent from the public discourse finally, and it was a real entertaining watch, all my old school homies know I loved the Disciples Of Soul way more than the E Street band. He produced several of my favorite artists, founded one of the coolest record labels I so longed to be on back when I thought I still had a band, and the radio show, “Sun City”, “Sopranos”, on and on, see it when you get the chance.One of his famous friends blocked me when I said they charge too much for concert tickets and it’s troubling how few big name rockstars are willing to stand up for humanity during a genocide. Fame people are pretty culty. I still love all his work, ESPECIALLY (!!!) “Sun City” which was one of the key moments that really helped trigger my lifelong punk rock social activism, honestly. I hope to someday talk to him about everything, he’s a real powerhouse. I’m a lot younger but don’t have half that energy anymore. I gotta get ready for work, but send love and solidarity out to everyone who is fighting for Palestine, justice, equality and human rights. You might be bamboozled if you think chanting USA, providing weapons for genocide, spying on all the people, teargassing protests, cops knocking women on the ground, and corporations building cop cities are nwoke and feminist. Genocide, ethnic cleansing, mass incareceration, torture,and assassinating journalists are not leftist or progressive values. There is just the uniparty and they are owned by bio-tech billionaires, Aipac, and Blackrock, all that other shit about putting tampons in boy’s bathrooms is to keep you feuding with your neighbor rather than uniting against the genocidal murder machine.(-The General)
