Punk trailblazer Andy Blade’s seemingly unstoppable late-career surge continues apace with a brand-new collaboration alongside legendary Generation X guitar hero, Bob “Derwood” Andrews. Following the critical acclaim of their 2023 single, the majestic “You’re Strange” the duo have joined forces once again to deliver another masterclass in alternative rock chemistry.
Dropping on August 21st, their brand-new double A-side single, “Cat In The Bag” / “Junk Shop Saddle,” perfectly distills the duo’s finely tuned pop sensibilities. Blade’s distinctive, urgent vocal delivery layered over Derwood’s cut-throat riffs effortlessly converts raw sonic energy into pure, unadulterated feel-good vibes.
