Now I’m old and never went to college so that means I keep doing the knee destroying, back breaking, slave wage hard labor and stressful outdoor lifting for rich people, all kindsa side work, on toppa cargeiving for disabled family, so it aint all scarves and acoustic guitars and merry drunken singalongs, or spontaneous public dance parties, no more, I’ll tell you that. Been a long time, really. Had record store dreams last night and was visited by a friend who’s kinda knock, knock, knockin’ on heaven’s door. In my last column, I said I was gonna take a break from citizen journalism for awhile and trying to rabble rouse on behalf of human rights and our urgently deteriorating civil liberties, but after my first cuppa bummed out morning coffee, I realized that now aint the time for wallflowering. We got too much at stake and everybody should be using whatever orange crate and bullhorn they can find to interrupt the Honky Death Machine. You know what’s really extra horrifying? Think back to your most inspirational teacher, the one who got you into Martin Luther King Jr., and Jackson Browne’s No Nukes and shit? Notice how silent they been about genocide? Media professionals are not sticking up for Assange, or all the hundreds of empire assassinated fucking real journalists in Palestine, who aren’t just overpaid simps for big pharma and weapon manufacturers, but actual in harm’s way, telling the facts, on the ground reporters,m but they totally cling to their bullshit Rachel Maddow Russiagate fictions and still think their red Maga counterparts election tantrum was worse than genocide. Almost every Democrat I know straightup will tell you they are more offended by Trumps’ pussy comment than the tens of thousands of women being outright massacred by Israel.
