How do we make sure that 10 and 20 and 50 years from now, gut-wrenching inequality continues so that we (the select, the few, the lucky, the elite) can continue to be richer than anybody ever imagined, nearly drowning in momentary monetary privilege — So much money we could never spend it all? But there’s a larger reason they don’t have to meet up like teenagers outside a convenience store in order to implement a variety of oppression and exploitation. That reason is that they all have the same goals in the broadest sense — because they are all “successful” in the capitalist colonialist system. Therefore every one of them (or their family) has become wildly wealthy (or powerful) via the exploitation inherent in wage slavery and/or imperial rule. No one is leading the way at the World Economic Forum who did not gain their wealth or influence from signing up for mass exploitation. The poorest ones in Davos who have any influence are probably current or former leaders of nations like former US presidents — because those leaders often only have a few million dollars. However, those leaders are only in those positions because they were selected and controlled by the largest capitalist exploiters in the world. There is no true discussion of inequality. There is no discussion of a world beyond capitalism. Therefore, there is no advanced thought present—Only debate on how the prison bars should be painted for a kinder, gentler oppression and exploitation.
