I just found out my beloved Martha Quinn has been having health problems, I met her when I was a runaway gutter snipe and she was really nice to me, so she’ll always have a special place in my heart, so say a prayer for Martha if you believe there is a God in the sky who hears any of our pleas at this point. Faith is like forgiveness for me, it kinda comes and goes, and I have minutes of peace and gratitude to still be here in my old age, protecting my kid and sending out my little smoke signals to the numb, dumb world, but also oceans of grief and despair and doubt-I’ve lost my hope for humanity at this point. All those fucking awful shoppers still talking about Taylor Swift and Paisising Democrats and Bill Gates and Beyonce, and keeping up with the Kardashians? I want nothing to do with it. I wish I had enough money to relocate my family to a different part of the world away from all these heartless zombies of death. I think wealth worship is a destructive mental illness. I really do. Ya know Christmas always makes me a bit heartsick cause my old Kentucky home is soldoff and gone, the aunt and grandparents who threw all the memorably magical and festive holiday hoo-has have disappeared. The old cronies I used to have loud laughs with at the dirty damned divebar. Joe Strummer. Been working for the man lately, it’s cold out, might have to do some labor and drudgery even today on Christmas eve. It’s a bad feeling when you have to scrap and struggle and work so hard everyday and still not have enough surplus income to adequately provide gifts for your dearest loved ones, but the capitalist shitshow will always indoctrinate us to believe that all us slaves should care about is slaving harder to purchase crap we don’t need to feel worthy of any love. It’s all Bizarro World basckasswards and upside down now. The genocide on Palestine has shown the world that like 97% of Murkkkan politicians take bribes from foreign lobbyists. I was window shopping at some rich rancher’s Stepford Wife’s highend cowgirl boutique yesterday and saw a sign that read, “welcome To The Shitshow, Hope you Brought Alcohol” that made me smile. Another one was the traditional retail closed sign refashioned into “Sorry, We’re Drinking”! Somebody on social media said something like, “Christmas aint Christmassing like it used to, anymore!” Hard to celebrate while the empire bombs children and assassinates journalists and JULIAN ASSANGE is still held captive in Belmarsh as an example to any other truth tellers who might ever embarras the evil old war machine lies for war generals or Hillary Clinton. Personally, I hated middle school and harbored all these fantasies in my youth about someday escaping that whole consumerist ratrace and popularity contest, but as I got older and trudged through my twenties and forties, I saw with great horrow how all my former peers who went to college and bought property and insulated themselves from ever having to be inconvenienced and believe they have a right to never be offended by ikky thoughts or yukky poor people, I saw how middle school never ends for the middle brow, middle Murkkkan middle class. Idon’t want nothing to do with rich people or their fuckedup copycat fashion shows. Some of my loved ones have become obsessed with getting money and that’s just never gonna be my bag, ya know? It makes those people so mean and so crazy, the hoarders and the guardians of property. You can easily see ’em coming-the Kalltha Kops Karens and preservers of the status quo-they are the ones who obediently recite the latest empty slogans about how great the economy is under Bidenflation, even though everybody in the bottom of society has always known the Wal mart and Bezos and gates gougers are just gouging because they can, nothing to do with Putin, really. I can’t stand the authority seeking electric car driving Namaste motherfuckers-they are all just Republikkkans with rainbow flags and ego trips trying to hijack progressive movements lexicons to cover the crimes of their pants suited puppets and protect their own landlordly priviliges and acquire The Most Stuff. I’ve seen one rich dude go so crazy trying to please his insatiable wife, he invents just whackadoo ballsout tall tale fictions to justify not wanting to be around any poor people. They socialize their kids to think the poverty is contaigious while the inheritance is earned. Two of my last surviving friends are having bigtime health problems in faraway cities. Couple others just dropped dead suddenly in their fifties and the obits never include a cause of death no more, it’s all just died suddenly with no reason why. It’s hard for me to even be around the white feminists with their Buddha statues and “coexist” bumper stickers who think hating Muslims is an intellectual position. These shitlibs are so coddled and cloistered in their ivory tower safesapces, they can not even imagine what the real perspective of poor people is like anymore, not even the ones who slummed with us in their early twenties when they were pretedning to be punk rock for five years. The mass muder of innocent Palestinian children makes it hard for people of conscience to wanna participate in any of their jiveass, hot garbage, Starbucks slurping, genocide excusin’ reindeer games. Only thing I ever wanna do now is get real tipsy and melt into the old songs we loved when a groovy future still seemed attainable for all of us, before the turnocoats and rats jumped ship and were seduced by the dark side of the force, ya know?
