Sure, Paul was and is eternally beloved by critics and romantics, Chris has become a famous painter, and I get why he got sick of Paul telling him he sucked. Tommy was the heart throb of college girls and Slim was by all accounts a lovely man and a pretty good guitar picker, but Bob was something else. Ya ever think about how much Nirvana lifted directly from the Replacements? Bob got real embarrassed by some fuckedup magazine article Post Replacements, about all his hard partying and dead end bands, but I may have done some hard partying and had some deadend bands of my own, so I’ve always had a special place in my fondest teenage memories for that band but particularly, for Bob Stinson.
