Texas punk rock’n’rollers The OXYS are back with 10 brand new songs out on Cleopatra Records on September 19th. “Poison Apple” opens the album with a cool mix of punk’n’roll and edgy garage rock before “Mister Softee” hits us like bomb with dirty catchy glam punk rock. You’ll hear some good melodies and a new wave touch in “Long Shadows” and good hooks in “Idiot Box”. “Eating Alive”and “Demons” have a bit of TURBONEGRO in them, a touch of horror darkness and raw punk energy. You will find it hard to resist songs like “Poison in The Heart” or “Not Gonna Die” and if you like bands like The BLACK HALOS then you will probably love “Toe Tag Lovers””Drop Of Blood” puts an end to this album with a few blood drops of DEAD BOYS injected to the song.
