French garage rockers BADASS MOTHER FUZZERS are back with a new album out on Pigmé Records/6Tone Records. “Not Gonna Miss You” mixes 60s fuzz guitar riffs with a modern garage sound while “Go To Hell” is straight punk rock’n’roll. The FUZZTONES come to mind when listening to “Sorry For You” and songs like “Back Against The Wall” or “Do It Right” are good in your face rock’n’roll tunes. JERRY SPIDER GANG‘s Lo Spider recorded and produced the album so it’s not surprising to find some action rock traces in “Can’t Let Them Win”, “Not Too Late” or “Never Say You Won’t”. The band also knows how to slow things down and write catchy melodies in a song like “Time Will Show” just before dancing on the edge of lo-fi garage with “Before I’m Gone” and turning wild garage rock’n’roll in “Tired of Loving You” and “Don’t Come Near Me”. Get it on vinyl if you want to add some rock’n’roll to your summer!/Laurent C.
