Biden is the manifestation of the American political system. He represents the established order, and he would personally skin a hundred children if it meant upholding the veneer of US Democracy and the lie that the US is a force for good in the world. He is merely the guy they got in to have a (barely) warm body in the Oval Office so the same unelected state actors who make the bulk of the decisions had someone who would support whatever was the consensus of the US War Party (the apparatus that actually runs the country). Trump is motivated by other means — he is the manifestation of American culture. He isn’t benevolent nor is he doing this ‘for the greater good’ — he’s had a lifetime of extreme wealth and has become accustomed to it, but there’s no power like being ‘the leader of the free world’ and he craves that self-importance and the way it feeds his ego, irrespective of the causes he attaches himself to. Trump is the product of a culture obsessed with individualism, self-importance, wealth and power. He won’t create positive change, he won’t ‘drain the swamp,’ he won’t fix anything, he just craves the power of being in control of it all, irrespective of the chaos his flawed beliefs will inflict on wider society. If you genuinely want a better society, then neither are worth your support, neither have much if anything redeeming them, and both will continue the same bullshit imperialism that’s destabilising and destroying the world.
