Seeing the parallels between the mistreatment and depreciation of women in fairytales and our current society, “Rumpelstiltskin” is a seething and pounding anthem for those who are tired of the oppressive patriarchal system.
“Burn” approaches social upheaval from two contrasting mentalities. Playfully punchy with lyrics brimming with innuendo, it displays the excitement and intensity of rising up and standing for a cause. Alternatively, its focus spirals into the disorienting exasperation of media bombardment and sliding progress. Both create a fiery blaze within.
