Former 70s glam influenced band FAZ WALTZ have completed their metamorphosis into a true 50s/60s rock’n’roll band. The spirit of LITTLE RICHARD wanders all over songs like “Rave A Comin’”, “I Will Be Knockin’” or “Way You Roll” and images of vintage America come to mind when listening to “Jackal Hop”, “Playin’ With My Heart”, “Getting Over you” or “Broken Hearted Heaven”. Songs like “Step On You” or “Good Lovin’” remind me of the great late NICK CURRAN and “Blue Skinned Jenny” has a bit of a CRAMPS-esque rockabilly vibe. Of course, you’ll find this album on all streaming sites but you can get the real thing from Spaghetty Town Records, Ghost Highway Recordings and Head Perfume Records. /Laurent C.
