The Joneses “Keeping Up With The Joneses”

This re-release of “Keeping Up With The Joneses “ (originally released in 1986) shows that Full Breach Kicks continue their rehabilitation campaign of this amazing band that The JONESES were. I remember how hard it was to get the vinyl in those days but also the excitation that I felt when the postman finally delivered the desired object in my mailbox. The JONESES overhanging the city on the cover, Jeff Drake sitting enthroned in front of his buddies like Napoléon in front of his troops (I know, this is a ridiculous comparison but I also know that he actually admires the little Corsican guy…), all of this protected by some cellophane that I was almost afraid to tear of. As soon as I heard the first chords of “MS. 714”, I knew that this band was made for me. Only later I heard about the discords, the alcohol, drug and girl problems and I think that I would have been a bit disappointed if there wasn’t any of all that. After all, aren’t these things the ones that make a real rock’n’roll band? So get this remastered version (on CD or vinyl) as soon as possible, call me and let’s talk about it…/Franckie.
