Helsinki rock’n’roll gang Bad Valentines released their new single “November Shadows” on October 2, 2026 -a darker slice of the band’s new material, recorded during their recent studio sessions.
What began as an early blues-based version of the song eventually evolved into a faster, hard-driving blend of Motown and rock’n’roll. Set against an autumnal urban landscape, “November Shadows” finds comfort in the darkness, with its shadows offering a constant companion to the loneliness of the mind.
“Shadows can be friends. There’s no need to avoid them or run away from them.”— Pekko Mantzin, guitarist and songwriter
“November Shadows” is the first release from Bad Valentines’ upcoming debut album, currently in the mixing stage. The band began recording the album in spring 2026, laying down 11 tracks in total. The album is scheduled for release in 2027.
