Swiss band HERE HARE HERE offer us an interesting mix of post-punk and noise rock. “Know Your Kind” definitely leans to the punk side while “Black Dog” has quite a shoegazing atmosphere. HERE HARE HERE also gets quieter and more cinematic with “The Past” or “Zoom”and incorporates 60s garage guitar riffs in “Heavy”. You’ll also hear some catchy pop hooks in “Lovers” or in “Absolute” and an IGGY POP vibe (“To See The Sea”,”Lalala Life.”) And if you want more rock’n’roll then just listen to “Chez Liam”! This album could have been released in the mid 90s but it doesn’t mean it sounds dated. Well, you should just check it out!/Laurent C.
