SUPERSONIC DEUCES was formed in 2005 by two extreme metal band members: Andy Angelini (ex-STORMLORD) and Dave Scala (ex-ENEMYSIDE.) They are from Italy but were influenced by the early 00S Scandinavian rock’n’roll scene and you can hear it in these 10 songs. “Haze The Hides” and “Dead And Gone” bring BACKYARD BABIES to mind. The energy, the melodies and rawk’n’roll attitude take us back to the times when The HELLACOPTERS were everywhere. If you were into this scene then it will be hard to resist songs like “Hole Shot”, “Bored & Stroked” or “Twentyfour Seven”or. Fans of heavy action rock will headbang to “My Wave” and if you’re into glam punk’n’roll then just check “Hey Now!”, “I’m Alright” or “Wrong” out. The album ends with the rockin’ yet melodic “Knocks Off” but if you get the CD version you’ll get two classic cover songs as a bonus, “Strutter” (KISS) and “(I’m Not Your) Stepping Stone”(The LIVERPOOL FIVE, then made popular by The MONKEES and The SEX PISTOLS.)
