9 new tracks described as “retro flavoured.” Although a song like “Dysfunctional” might make you think about WEDNESDAY 13, you’ll hear lot of early KISS and ALICE COOPER influences on this album, vintage guitar riffs and catchy choruses. Rob Richardson wrote, played and recorded everything again and he did a great job! “King of Spades” is straight up 70s rock’n’roll while “Tango Woman” and “Now You’re Gone” both bring 80s hair metal to mind. If you’re more into classic hard rock like AC/DC then “Doin’ The Time” is the one for you and if you want a slight garage touch then listen to “Everything To Lose”. Good old 70s/80s influenced hard rock is quite rare nowadays so check this album out !/Laurent C.
