ROB MOSS AND SKIN-TIGHT SKIN is back with a 3rd album. Former GOVERNMENT ISSUE/ARTIFICIAL PEACE member has been offering us some great punk rock’n’roll with this project and this brand new album is no exception. “We Just Don’t Know” and “Hey You (We’re Sick Of You)” sound like a cool mix of 77 punk rock and SOCIAL DISTORTION. You’ll hear catchy guitar melodies with a bit of a PETER MURPHY vibe in “You and Time” and some good hooks in “I Got Lots of Problems”; Jen D’Angora (The SHANG HI LOS) sings with Rob on “The World (Is A Playground”) and Danny Frankel (LOU REED, URBAN VERBS, JOHN CALE…) is on drums. STOOGES fans will probably dig “Basement Party” and you’ll get your glam fix with “Right Hook” and “The Next Time (I See You)”! Things get darker with “In The Canebrake” and crazier wuth “We Just Don’t Dub”… Since Rob is asking “What Happened (To The Rock’n’Roll), this record might be a good way to find out what’s left of it! /Laurent C.
