HELLO LONDON is the solo project of singer/songwriter James Froese. These four songs have a strong indie pop influence sometimes reminding of mid/late 90s bands like The PROMISE RING and other bands on Jade Tree Records in songs like “Garden” or “Patterns.” “Breathing In” sounds heavier while “Part of Me” underlines the softer side of HELLO LONDON with a little americana touch. James plays all the instruments on these songs but mostly plays acoustic (you’ll find the acoustic versions of these songs on the CD) live. If you’re looking for sweet melodies and good American indie pop songs, then you should give this EP a try. /Laurent C.
