Indie rock from France with strong 90s alternative influences as you can hear in opening track “Feather” in which poppy melody and powerful heavy guitars collide. Grungy pop songs like “The Second Take”, “A Shelter” or “Glass Kingdom” will take you back to the days when American alternative rock was spreading all around the world while “A New Love Ends”, “insomnia” or “Portrait” offer us a darker yet melodic and atmospheric mood that you could find in bands like QUICKSAND or MOGWAI in those days. The pop side of the band stands out in “Constellation” and in the memorable “Waterfalls”. “Celebrations of The End” could easily be the missing link between post-hardcore and 90s US indie rock. /Laurent C.
