Portland, Oregon based noise-rockers FOX MEDICINE return to their roots with lo-fi bubblegum doom on venemous new single “RATTLESNAKE VALENTINE“
After releasing their EP DOOM CANDY in 2023, Portland’s FOX MEDICINE wanted to tinker around with analogue recording equipment to try and recreate their raw early sound. The fierce new single attacks ferociously and gives a soothing Norwegian Death Metal meets Powerpuff Girls vibe. In true FOX MEDICINE fashion, this vaguely romantic song seems to hint at wild untamed love, but with the distinctive bubblegum-doom flavor they are known for. “We think of this song as a B-side to DOOM CANDY, because it’s more aggressive and raw, but definitely belongs in the same candy shop” muses bandleader Neezy Dynamite (guitar/vocals).
“Rattlesnake Valentine” is available on 2/2 on all streaming platforms and will be available as a Valentine’s Day card bundle which includes a download code, stickers and a button only available on their upcoming West Coast tour which starts on 2/8 in Grants Pass, OR and ends in the vast southern California desert.
