SMOOCH from Melbourne, Australia now have their record “A Force To Be Rockin’ With” (2022) re-issued on German record label Wanda Records. “Feminine Touch” and “Glitter Thugs” rock like 70s KISS flirting with GIRLSCHOOL and songs like “Evil Insider”, “Pucker Up” or “Can You Hear Me” will sure make you want to put some platform boots on and wear glittery lipstick. Early DONNAS also come to mind at times and you’ll hear sweet guitar melodies in “Dream Axe” or “Power Desire” while keeping a 70s hard rock edge. The last song “A Force To Be Rockin’ With” starts with an intro a la GARY GLITTER before the guitars bring a nice THIN LIZZY touch.
