I’ve never met a born rich predator class person who did not adamantly insist they are self made, self realized, woke and independent empire builders who just magically pulled their fortune outta thin air with their virtue, good karma, higherbrow than thou artistry, and scientific innovation. So if they are all so faux woke and groovy and inclusive and save the whales, why are they always the ones who do harm to the dirty lesser thans? There are like 25 rich ranchers or airbandb owners here, but ninetyfive percent of the town are dirt poor trailer dwellers and post stroke widowers compulsively bragging to married women in the soda aise about their trucks and pitbulls. Two litres of soda were always 99 cents, always, as a way to keep the poor diabetic and dying suddenly from all the high fructose corn syrup and Rumsfeld approved Aspartame, but now, post Gropey Joe/Kamala’s Kicks admin, even the two litres are four bucks. Middle class people tell me to Blame Putin and they only consume fair trade organic products anyway because of their education and natural superiority to those lowly Wal Mart shoppers. Only jobs are Wal Mart, tire repair and auto parts stores and two fast food restuarants. Even Denny’s died during Covid. I feel for all the desperate crazies roaming the streets in the high heat with no money in their pockets and nowhere to go. I’ve been in their shoes many times before. But for the Grace Of God There Go I, again, at any moment now. No one is more hated than a poor person in this country and extreme poverty always results in perpetual crisis, perilous alienation, sickness, evictions, getting caught up by the unjust system, utility shutoffs, and/or early death. It is a sorrowful thing to behold so upclose and personal all the time. You can’t buy overpriced bottled water for every thirsty drifter you see sweatting profusely in the hot sun. Too many people suffering, but billionaire heiresses, executive crackheads, and proxy war cokehead megalomaniacs need more zillions, they say. Always for some supposedly noble cause like female literacy in Afghanistan or “spreading democracy”. I don’t believe a word said by any motherfucking faux woke millionaire pro war media whores on tv.

Their big budget sci fi “Terminator” video for “Wild Boys” really spoke to him when he was living under a table in my mom’s basement, unbeknowest to her, for several months, while hiding from the police for going on a crazy joyride to Las Vagas with some preppie downtown karate kids who stole a car. I was never that into “Wild Boys” or “View To A Kill”, but you know, I loved all their dreamy, romantic shit. ‘Still do. I think I slowdanced with the prettiest girl in the world at the MTV club where my early bassplayer was a celebrity superstar tristate area pinup DJ, but honestly, I could have just dreamt it. I asked him about it once and he said, “yeah, Stewart is pretty conservative”, but they bonded over the music. Copeland’s brother signed all our fave bands to IRS Records before the deep state decided to weaponize the muzak industry as a way of dumbing everybody down, so I appreciate them for that, but remain suspicious of millionaire spook kids controlling everything media related. There were these foxy older twins who lived catty corner from me in deep honky subuurbia in the eighties who used to sit at the back of the schoolbus with other blurry eyed hungover seniors who reeked of watermelon lipgloss, bubble gum, bad perfume and hairspray, they had a giant Police collage painted in their garage and hosted like the first big, epic rich kid party I had ever seen on the dirtbike trails behind their house with thousands of people. It was pretty thrilling to us dirtbike riding twelve year olds cause you know all those eighties movies always had the wild party, right? Big p.a. and shit ton of kegs. The breathtakingly gorgeous twin that had babysat me in the summer between the third grade and fourth grade and ignored me while we were in school showed back up in my life when I’d become a small pond punk star years later and I got to makeout with the babysitter. Pretty cool, but then she told me her favorie band was the Eagles and that kinda killed the buzz. Man was she ever beautiful, though. God bless ya, Cindy S., wherever you are. I imagine she works in clerical at a hospital in Colorado, has adult twins of her own and a rich outdoorsy husband and they take their grandkids on excessive rich people beach vacations at lavish resorts, but honestly, I aint seen her since I was twenty and she was twenty four or twenty five in spite of my fond memory. Several lifetimes ago. Then, there was another girl who I met when we were like 13, she changed everything and I can never hear Sting or the Police without thinking of her. “I’ll send an S.O.S. to the world…” I feel like we saw that movie “Dream Of Blue Turtles” together at the Amurkkkkan Mall, but I coulda just dreamt that, too. So far away. So long ago. The “IRS Cutting Edge Happy Hour”, hosted by Peter Zaremba was my favorite tv show and I remember being on the phone with my main crush on Suday nights discussing Let’s Active or the Go Betweens or Cramps and X or whoever we smalltowners were just being introduced to back then. You know I always loved the soundtracks to the John Hughes movies, but even then, I recognized the takeaway message was, “it’s okay to dress funny senior year but then you need to prepare for college in order to meet a ruling class fratboy to marry wealth.” I resent that shit cause obviously, I am poor.
