This is the second album from this young British dark pop artist, She released her debut album “Cherry” in 2021. This new record skillfully mixes quiet modern pop with metal guitars in well produced songs like “Off The Edge”, “Small World” and “Don’t Tell Me The End.”Ballads like “When The Raven Leaves” , the fragile and very emotional “I’m Not Her” and “Who’s Gonna Hurt Me Now” sound very nice and soothing and the beautiful “Forever Is Nothing” even brings SINEAD O’ CONNOR to mind. “Every Minute” was co-written by former MUD guitarist & Ivor Novello Award winner Rob Davis who co wrote the Kylie Minogue hit ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ so you can imagine that it’s quite a catchy one. Songs like “Running” and “Why Not Me” bring the 00s to mind when a band like EVANESCENCE was on the top of the charts.
