Milwaukee power rock’n’roll trio INDONESIAN JUNK have a cool name (from a CHEAP TRICK song), so that’s a good start! They also have a good album cover photo… What about their music? You’ll hear a bit of JOHNNY THUNDERS when listening to “Stars In The Night”, “Slowdown”, or “On The Run”, and “I’ll Run Away”, or “Tonight” are great ’77 NYC punk influenced songs.. INDONESIAN JUNK also has a foot in modern power pop with songs like “Why Did I Call You?”, bringing a band like The CRY to mind.
